BARN

This barn is wood frame and approximately 100 years old.  It has two levels, the ground floor and a full loft.  Each level is 30’ x 40’.  The ground floor is 8’ high, while the loft is about 35’ high.

The gambrel roof is corrugated steel with fiber reinforced silver paint.  Both the roof and siding (barn red) have been painted within the last 5 years.  The superstructure is in excellent condition and the interior loft roof construction is reminiscent of a cathedral.

The barn has aluminum gutters and leaders and a french drain system.  There is 100 amp underground electrical service (with a separate meter).  The interior has fluorescent lighting, and several outlets.  There is also an all weather water hydrant in the barn.

There is a custom built quail flight pen on the ground floor, which is 8’ high x 10’ wide and 40’ long.  There are 3 Less Mess™ feeder/water systems built into the pen.  The barn is not currently used for horses, but the potential is there.
